Of all the plaques to the great and good that adorn the buildings of Rome surely the most amusing is the one in Via Margutta (n. 110), where the great film director, Federico Fellini (1920-93), and his wife, the actress Giulietta Masina (1921-94), once lived. Fellini is also honoured with a much more conventional plaque in Via Veneto, which he immortalised in his film La Dolce Vita (1960). Comments are closed.
